Steady, profitable growth is the current state of Benchmark Realty LLC, currently tracking at a 48% increase in overall volume, says company founder/CEO Phillip Cantrell.
In the latest rankings for the Nashville Business Journal, Benchmark has risen to third in the market, previously seventh around three years ago, according to Cantrell, who says the progress is part of his long-term plans for the company.

In further analysis, Cantrell said the total unit count for Benchmark was reported early to NBJ due to their deadline and 2016 actually finished at 5,667 units. Our competitors have four to five times the number of offices as Benchmark. We are very lean and driven by conservative principals focusing on less overhead which has to be absorbed by agents and ultimately passed on to consumers. This being said, we do have some great upcoming news.
LOOKING TOWARD THE FUTURE
Cantrell said exciting national real estate rankings are expected soon as well as two, new regional offices opening. The lease has been signed, and, at the end of May, the Mt. Juliet office of Benchmark will be operational near the central business district off Mt. Juliet Road. Hendersonville is the next location with plans to open up late summer.
