A repeat we don’t mind, Benchmark Realty LLC has been named again the Nashville Business Journal’s 2016 Best Places to Work based on nominations from the public and surveys completed by employees. The Benchmark broker team accepted the award at a luncheon last week. From culture and freedom to proprietary systems, here are the reasons they think Benchmark earned this top award.

Benchmark has developed a culture unlike any other real estate brokerage in Middle Tennessee, says principal broker John Giffen, who also manages broker services.

“The company provides an environment where agents have the ability to grow their real estate business without the typical controlling interference from the broker. They know their broker ‘has their back’ when it comes to compliance, assistance with client issues, as well as guiding them through the challenges of working with the cooperating agents and/or brokers in difficult deals. Even though we are a large company, we work hard to cultivate a sense of belonging and friendship that you just can’t find at other brokerages. We support and encourage each other.”

Giffen added, “proprietary systems and technology including a completely paperless ‘in the cloud’ transaction management environment enable our agents to quickly and efficiently meet the needs of our clients. “

Lisa Wurth, Cool Springs principal broker, explains, “Benchmark brokers understand the need for accessibility by the agents. Our agents are extremely seasoned, well-educated and know how to run their business so when they have a need to reach the broker it’s typically a time sensitive need. We get that, and pride ourselves on being available when their agents need us.”

Agent Linda Seaton, also a company leader, explained, “Benchmark has attracted many reputable, highly experienced agents who know the value of being backed by brokers of high integrity.”

Summing it up in a single word, Midtown Office broker Mike Nichols says that” freedom” is a huge reason Benchmark Realty earned the Nashville Business Journal’s Best Places To Work Award.

“I think the reason why our agents like working here is we give them the freedom to develop their real estate business the way that want it to be. We allow them the creativity to weave their personal brand into our corporate presence in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee market,” Nichols said.

Company CEO Phillip Cantrell was asked by the newspaper what do your employees say is different from their previous workplaces? “Undoubtedly it is that we have a very flat corporate structure with top management being extremely accessible. We are focused on maintaining a family/small company atmosphere,” Cantrell said.

Here’s feedback from our agents and exactly how the Benchmark Realty 100% commission sales model makes Benchmark unique and the top real estate company choice in Middle Tennessee.
