With more than 200 years of rich history, Gallatin, TN is a spectacular place to live. The seventh president of the United States, Andrew Jackson, was one of the first to purchase land in town, which is the county seat of Sumner County. Gallatin played a pivotal role during the Civil War because of its railroad and its location on the Cumberland River.
