Use these templates as a springboard. Remember, you don’t have to write any more or any less; the thought behind a handwritten thank-you note is what counts the most.

Thanks for choosing me as your listing agent. I’m already implementing the customized marketing strategy I’ve developed for you.

2. Thank You After Not Getting a Listing

Thank you for taking the time to discuss your property with me. It was my pleasure to share that time with you, and please, feel free to call me if you have any questions.

3. Thank You After Showings 

Thank you for spending the morning/afternoon/day with me looking at homes in (Location). We’ll find the perfect home and have you happily settled in no time!

4. Thank You After Purchase 

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you find the right home. I’m sure you’ll enjoy living there, and remember, I’ll be here if you need anything!

5. FSBO 

Thank you for showing me your lovely home. I wish you the best of luck in selling it, and if you later decide that you’d like a Realtor® to represent you, please let me know.

6. Thank You for a Referral 

Thank you for referring (Name) to me. I assure you that I’ll help him/her/them find the perfect home (or sell their home) as quickly as possible.

7. Thank You for the Call
